The Oklahoma Wheat Growers’ Association announced two upcoming informational meetings. The first will be Jan. 9 in Altus, and the second will be Jan. 23 in Enid. The meetings will cover producer planning opportunities for the 2018 wheat harvest, including enhancing Oklahoma wheat production and end-use quality; soil fertility and wheat breeding; and a state government update.
The Jan. 9 meeting will be from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Southwest Technology Center, 711, W. Tamarack, Altus, Oklahoma. Growers are asked to RSVP by Jan. 5.
The Jan. 23 meeting will be from 1 to 4 p.m., at Autry Tech, 1201 W. Willow, Enid, Oklahoma. Growers are asked to RSVP for this meeting by Jan. 18.
