More than 20,000 people are using AgManager.info each month and a presentation on how it can help producers is planned for 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the Cottonwood Extension office meeting room, 601 Main Street, Hays, Kansas.
Agriculture producers are using this Extension web site for information and research in agricultural economics, said Stacy Campbell of the Cottonwood Extension District. The presenter will be Rich Llewelyn, an Extension assistant at Kansas State University who maintains and develops the website.
Topics covered include providing a “tour” of AgManager.info and the different sections/areas on it, demonstrating how to use the many different decision tools, showing crop and livestock budgets and how to use them for your operation and demonstrating the financial benchmarking tool—a tool to assess a farm’s financial position relative to other similar farms in the same region.
Reservations are requested by Jan. 31 and organizers must have a minimum of eight RSVPs to hold the workshop. For more information, call 785-628-9430 or email Theresa at [email protected].
