The Calamity Jane Days Tractor Cruise on Sept. 14 will start a full weekend of activities at Princeton, Missouri.
Registration starts at 7 a.m. and a drivers’ meeting will be at 9 a.m. and the cruise starts at 9:30 a.m. Parking is available west of Princeton near the fairgrounds. The cruise will have a new route touring the beautiful countryside of Mercer County. Refreshments and snacks will be provided for morning and afternoon breaks and a lunch will be served at noon. The cruise will arrive back in Princeton around 4 to 4:30 p.m. and an awards presentation will follow.
Each tractor will be on display for the community to view. The Princeton Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the meal along with music and homemade ice cream.
Registration for each participant is $40. Each participant will receive a t-shirt, dash plaque, water and snack in the morning and evening, lunch, evening meal and homemade ice cream. The cost for each guest attending is $10. The guest registration fee includes lunch and ice cream. The registration form and fee are required by Aug. 1.
Sept. 15 activities continue all day with craft vendors and a parade at 1 p.m., which cruise participants are invited to ride in. The Sept. 16 activities include a car show, melodrama presentation and Shoot Out Gang presentation.
