Subsoil moisture supplies were 17 percent very short, 47 percent short, 36 percent adequate, and 0 percent surplus. Low temperatures ranged from 61.0 degrees Fahrenheit at Calico Rock to 72.9 degrees Fahrenheit at Hot Springs. Highs ranged from 83.3 degrees Fahrenheit at Kingston to 98.0 degrees Fahrenheit at Crossett. Light precipitation was received throughout the state, with the highest concentration occurring in the east central part of the state with an average of 0.79 inch.
