Below zero temperatures reported (Wyoming)

Wyoming experienced below normal temperatures for the week ending Nov. 18, according to USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service, Mountain Regional Field Office, Wyoming. Thirty-one of the 33 reporting stations reported below average temperatures for the week. The high temperature of 68 degrees was recorded at Sheridan and a low of 13 degrees below zero was recorded at Jeffrey City. Above normal moisture was reported at 16 of the 33 reporting stations. Four stations reported no moisture. Windy Peaks reported the most moisture with 0.73 inches. A reporter from western Wyoming indicated that they have snow on the ground and it is frozen—winter is here. A reporter from south central Wyoming reported that the weather has been mild. A reporter from southeastern Wyoming noted that they got temperatures below zero with winter like conditions. Another reporter from Southeastern Wyoming stated warm weather during the week turned into winter conditions on Friday into Saturday. They also reported snowfall from 5 to 8 inches with strong winds causing drifting.
