The Arkansas weekly livestock summary indicated receipts of 6,675 head of cattle selling the week of June 13, compared to 8,637 head the previous week, according to the USDA-Arkansas Department of Agriculture Market News, Little Rock, Arkansas.

When compared to the previous week, the feeder steers were mostly steady to $7 lower. The feeder heifers weighing under 600 pounds were selling $1 to $4 higher and those over 600 pounds were steady to $4 lower. The slaughter cows were steady to $1 higher. The slaughter bulls were selling $2 higher. The supply included 83% feeder cattle with 36% steers, 0% were dairy steers, 43% were heifers and 21% were bulls; 13% was slaughter cattle with 83% cows, 17% were bulls; 4% was replacement cattle with 13% stock cows, 46% were bred cows, 6% were bred heifers, 33% were cow-calf pairs and 2% were bulls. The feeder cattle supply weighing over 600 pounds was 17%.
