Sooner Scale, Inc., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was established in 1969 as a sales and service company in the weighing industry. Through its innovation and foresight, SSI initiated the manufacturing of scales in 1976 and quickly became one of the pioneers of above ground pitless motor truck scales and livestock scales.
Since its ground roots beginning, SSI has become one of the major producers in the United States of pitless scales. SSI manufactures a complete line of side rail and flat top model truck scales and livestock scales. All models are National Type Evaluation Program-approved and can be made portable. SSI also designs and builds custom units to meet specific application needs. SSI is a member of the International Society of Weighing and Measurement and National Conference on Weights and Measures.
