Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report
The Pratt livestock auction, Pratt, Kansas, April 5, reported estimated receipts of 3,300 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kansas.
Compared with last week, feeder steers sold firm to $5 higher, off grass with a vaccination program $10 to $20 higher. Feeder heifers 600 to 750 pounds weak to $2 lower, 750 to 900 pounds steady to firm.
Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 615 lbs., 176.00; 600 to 650 lbs., Gaunt 189.00 to 191.75, thin fleshed 182.50 to 187.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 161.00 to 167.00, Gaunt 173.00 to 178.50; 747 lbs., 148.25; 700 to 750 lbs., thin fleshed 151.00 to 154.00; Gaunt 741 lbs., 162.00; 786 lbs., 140.00; thin fleshed 750 to 800 lbs., 148.00 to 150.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 140.10 to 141.50; 850 to 900 lbs., 126.25 to 129.50, thin fleshed 130.65 to 134.35; 900 to 950 lbs., 127.10 to 127.25.
Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 700 to 750 lbs., 133.75 to 136.50; 762 lbs., 126.10 to 135.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 123.25 to 126.25.
