Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report

The Pratt Livestock feeder cattle auction, Pratt, Kansas, Feb. 15, reported estimated receipts of 3,400 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kansas.

Compared to a week ago, the feeder steers weighing 600 to 1,000 pounds were firm to $3 higher with instances of $6 to $8 higher, and the heifers weighing 600 to 700 pounds and 750 to 900 pounds were firm to $3 higher and those 700 to 750 pounds were selling $2 lower.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 171.00 to 174.00; 115 head, 672 lbs., 169.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 154.50 to 159.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 150.00 to 157.75; 74 head, value added 755 lbs., 163.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 147.00 to 149.00; 34 head, thin fleshed 815 lbs., 155.60; 850 to 900 lbs., 140.75 to 144.50; 900 to 950 lbs., 136.00 to 139.50; 950 to 1000 lbs., 136.50 to 137.10.
