‘Right-of-Way’ meeting set for Feb. 27 in Amarillo
The annual “ROW” Conference for right-of-way management, conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will be Feb. 27 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center, 6500 W. Amarillo Blvd. in Amarillo.
The program will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m., with lunch on your own, said Rick Auckerman, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent in Deaf Smith County.
There is a $10 registration fee. No credit cards accepted; make checks payable to the Leadership Advisory Board. RSVP to [email protected] or 806-364-3573 by Feb. 23.
Participants can earn five Texas Department of Agriculture private pesticide applicator continuing education units. TDA pesticide numbers must be put on the sign-in sheet. TDA will no longer take any other form of identification

– Prairie Dog Biology and Control, Joe Zotter, Texas Wildlife Services, wildlife biologist, Canyon.
– Use of Adjuvants in the Right-of-Way, Curt Franklin, Green Industries sales professional, Italy.
