Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report

The Pratt Livestock feeder cattle auction, Pratt, Kansas, March 1, reported estimated receipts of 5,500 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kansas.

Compared to two weeks ago, there were not enough feeder steers in early sales for a comparison. The heifers were selling firm to $2 higher.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 146.50 to 148.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 140.50 to 143.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 140.50 to 142.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 135.75 to 139.60; 900 to 950 lbs., 130.00 to 131.60.
