BTI, with six Kansas John Deere locations—Bucklin, Great Bend, Greensburg, Hoxie, Ness City and Pratt—offers the Hutchinson, Kansas-based ShieldAg/ARRO line of corn head conversions to re-purpose all late model Deere and CaseIH corn heads for efficient harvesting of sorghum and sunflowers, at about a third to half the cost of a new original equipment manufacturer row crop header. The ARRO design utilizes the durability of late model corn heads to harvest standing, lodged or down milo, while leaving 15 inches or more of the stalk standing in the field for no-till crop rotations and reduced erosion. ARRO corn head conversions are now available from BTI, for all Deere 40- and 90-series, all Deere 600C-series, CaseIH and New Holland 2200-, 2400-, 3200- and 3400-series; and during the fall 2018 harvest, for AGCO 3000- and 3300-series corn heads.
