Ericson Livestock Auction report
The Ericson Livestock Auction, Ericson, Nebraska, reported receipts of 3,389 head selling on April 28, compared to 2,975 head last year, according to the Nebraska Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Kearney, Nebraska.
This was the first reported sale in three weeks so a comparable trend is not available. Demand was good from the buyers in the crowd. The calf and feeder supply included 49% steers and 51% heifers with nearly 52% of the run weighing over 600 pounds.
