Tree issues above and belowground are among topics at a tree care workshop May 30 in Casper, Wyoming.
Sessions are 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Agricultural Resource and Learning Center, 2011 Fairgrounds Road, said Donna Hoffman, Natrona County University of Wyoming Extension horticulture educator. Lunch is provided.
Topics are tree grafting; proper tree selection and design to promote diversity; detecting, assessing, and reporting tree pests; and identifying and correcting root defects in young trees.
