The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association is hosting an autumn-themed photo contest.
"If it happens on the ranch in the fall, the photo is eligible to submit," said Director of Communications Chancey Hanson.
According to Hanson, photos can include but are not limited to: fall colors, gathering, branding and shipping cattle; planting wheat or wildlife photos.
"The photo contest is a fun way to engage our members and get some fresh stock photos to use in OCA publications," Hanson said. "We’ve found that OCA members love to see photos that they have submitted show up on the OCA’s social media feeds or on the cover of the Oklahoma Cowman."
All photos must be submitted by Nov. 1. Late entries will not be accepted. The photographer must be a member of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, Oklahoma CattleWomen or the Oklahoma Junior Cattlemen’s Association. Each photographer may submit one image.
The top six photos for each category will be selected by the photo contest selection committee. OCA Facebook fans will vote for a winner in each category from Nov. 15 to 30. The winner of each category will receive custom OCA bootjack.
