San Angelo feeder cattle sale results

Producers Livestock Cattle Auction, San Angelo, Texas, reported receipts of 536 head selling a week ago, 802 head trading March 25 and 792 head selling a year ago, according to USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Compared to a week ago, steer and heifer calves and yearlings were selling firm. Trading was fairly active and demand was good. Supply included: 63% feeder cattle (44% steers, 42% heifers, 14% bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 31%.
