San Angelo feeder cattle sales

Producers Livestock Cattle Auction, San Angelo, Texas, reported receipts of 802 head selling a week ago, 756 head trading March 18 and 582 head selling a year ago, according to USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Compared to a week ago, steer and heifer calves and yearlings were selling $1 to $3 higher. Trading was fairly active and demand was good. Supply included: 75% feeder cattle (52% steers, 48% heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 27%.
