San Angelo feeder cattle sale results
Producers Livestock Cattle Auction, San Angelo, Texas, reported receipts of 550 head selling a week ago, 567 head trading April 15 and 536 head selling a year ago, according to USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.
Compared to a week ago, steer and heifer calves and yearlings were selling $2 to $4 lower. Trading was fairly active and demand was good for better quality cattle. Supply included: 36% feeder cattle (31% steers, 57% heifers, 12% bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 33%.
