Crop Quest, Dodge City, Kansas, has appointed Kevin Hecht as president.

Hecht, a dedicated member of the team for 14 years, began as an agronomy intern and evolved through roles such as agronomist and precision ag specialist, and he has relocated from Ulysses to Dodge City.

Former President Dwight Koops, a founding member of Crop Quest in 1992, has transitioned to the role of CEO and will continue to guide the company until his retirement at the end of 2025.

Koops’ leadership has been instrumental in Crop Quest’s success, and he is confident in Hecht’s ability to steer the company forward. “I am excited to step into this role and work with our exceptional team,” Hecht said. “We have a remarkable group of professionals, and I am honored to lead them as we continue to innovate and serve our farmers.”

Crop Quest provides consulting and agricultural production management services in the High Plains region.
