Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report

The Pratt Livestock feeder cattle auction, Pratt, Kansas, Jan. 11, reported estimated receipts of 3,400 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kansas.

Compared to a week ago, the feeder steers in a light test weighing 600 to 1,000 pounds were selling $10 to $12 lower. The heifers from 650 to 850 pounds were selling $8 to $10 lower in a light test.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 155.00 to 157.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 143.00 to 148.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 140.75 to 144.50; 13 head thin fleshed 708 lbs., 152.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 139.25 to 142.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 136.50 to 142.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 137.50 to 142.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 134.25 to 137.25; 950 to 1000 lbs., 132.85 to 135.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 137.00 to 139.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 135.25 to 139.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 131.00 to 134.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 133.00 to 133.25.
