The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colo., in the closing grain report for Jan. 23, reported export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $4.71 1/2 to $4.76 1/2, down 4 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $3.91 1/4 to $3.94 1/4, down 3/4 to up 1/4 cent; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $8.05 3/4, down 1 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 2 yellow soybeans, barge, $10.21 1/4 to $10.30 1/4, unchanged to up 2 cents.

Colby, Kan., unit train wheat bid was $3.73.

In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $3.56 to $3.73.

No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was mostly 5 to 6 cents lower, at $3.33 to $3.58.

In northeast Colorado, wheat was $3.28 to $3.74.

In east central Colorado, wheat was $3.33 to $3.66.

In southeast Colorado, wheat was $3.33 to $3.73.

In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $3.23 to $3.87.

No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was mostly 1 cent lower and $3.41 to $3.61 per bushel.

In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $3.01 to $3.16.

In east central Colorado, corn was $3.01 to $3.16.

In southeast Colorado, corn was $2.96 to $3.41.

In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, corn bids were $3.03 to $3.16 per bushel.

No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was uneven at $5.20 to $5.91 per cwt.

No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were mostly 2 to 8 cents higher at $8.64 to $8.70 per bushel.

White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $6 to $6.50 per cwt., mostly $6.

Sunflowers were $18 cwt.

In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $3.41 per bushel. Barley was unavailable.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $21 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady $20 to $21. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $26. Great Northerns were steady at $21 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $23 to $24. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were steady $35; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were steady $33.
