Denison feeder cattle auction report

The Denison Feeder Cattle Auction, Denison, Iowa, reported receipts of 2,081 head selling on Jan. 25, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa.

Compared to a week ago, cattle were selling steady to instances $5 higher for cattle weighing below 600 pounds. Offering of feeder cattle over 600 pounds was 80.4% with 45.9% steers and 54.1% heifers.
