Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report
The Pratt Livestock feeder cattle auction, Pratt, Kansas, Feb. 1, showed estimated receipts of 3,500 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kansas.
Compared to a week ago, the feeder steers weighing 600 to 950 pounds were firm to $5 higher. The heifers from 600 to 750 pounds and 800 to 950 pounds were firm to $2 higher and those 750 to 800 pounds were selling $2 lower on a light supply of medium and large frame 1 animals.
