Kansas Livestock Association members elected to NCBA leadership

Jerry Bohn of Pratt was elected chairman of the NCBA Policy Division during the Cattle Industry Convention recently in Phoenix, Arizona. A number of other KLA members continue to be very involved in national cattle industry leadership. These individuals represent cattle producers across the country that belong to NCBA.

KLA President Elect Barb Downey of Wamego serves in two capacities. She is the Region VII Federation vice president. Additionally, Downey represents the Federation as co-chair of the Checkoff Nutrition and Health Committee.

Debbie Lyons-Blythe of White City continues to serve as vice chair of the NCBA Ag & Food Policy Committee. Mary Ann Kniebel, also of White City, is vice chair of the NCBA Policy & Resolutions Committee. Keith Bryant from Garden City is the Region VII representative on the NCBA Young Beef Leaders Advisory Group.
