Winter wheat condition rated 2 percent very poor, 18 poor, 53 fair, 27 good, and 0 excellent.

Spring wheat planted was 1 percent, well behind 48 last year and 34 for the five-year average. Oats planted was 1 percent, well behind 44 last year and 36 average.
