The Pratt Livestock, Pratt, Kansas, April 19, reported estimated receipts of 5,000 head selling as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kansas.

Compared with a week ago, feeder steers 700 to 750 pounds were selling firm, 750 to 1000 pounds were selling $2 to $6 higher. Feeder heifers 700 to 950 pounds were selling firm to $3 higher.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 700 to 750 lbs., 148.50 to 150.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 149.00 to 152.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 143.00 to 146.25; 850 to 900 lbs., 131.00 to 141.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 121.75 to 148.75.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 700 to 750 lbs., 131.50 to 139.35; 750 to 800 lbs., 131.25 to 135.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 124.00 to 128.50; 850 to 900 lbs., 119.00 to 124.00; 908 lbs., 117.50.
