Pasture Walk and Hereford Tour offered on June 6 in Lockridge
Join the Lower Skunk River Watershed Project and Iowa State University Extension for dinner and an evening pasture walk with Thomas Heidt and his Herefords at 3388 240th street, Lockridge, Iowa.
The event will be on June 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Registration and supper will be from 5 to 5:30 p.m. and the pasture walk will take place from 5:45 to 8 p.m. Supper will be prepared by the Jefferson County Cattlemen.
Topics to be covered include rotational grazing; weed and brush management; erosion control; and fescue management.
