Subsoil moisture supplies were 13 percent very short, 33 percent short, 52 percent adequate, and 2 percent surplus. Low temperatures ranged from 63.6 degrees Fahrenheit at Calico Rock to 75.0 degrees Fahrenheit at Des Arc. Highs ranged from 86.3 degrees Fahrenheit at Winslow to 97.1 degrees Fahrenheit at Searcy. Precipitation was sparse throughout the state, with the highest concentration occurring in the northwest part of the State with an average of 0.54 inches.
