I grew up a couple miles north of Osborne, Kansas. Osborne is located just north of the Geodetic Center of North America.
For a small town, it has a lot to offer from outdoor activities to shopping and dining. Just west of the downtown business district is the Osborne Public Library. The library offers more than just your typical books. With the help of volunteers, our library offers several programs and events to all ages, including: children’s programs, field trips, DIY craft nights and movie nights. I’m grateful for the many activities and opportunities my hometown has to offer to its rural community. P.S. If you’re driving through the Land of Oz, grab a drink at The Hideout coffee shop or check out Poppy and Marigold flower and gift shop.
