Light precipitation received

According to USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service, Delta Regional Field Office, Arkansas, there were 6.8 days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending July 15. Topsoil moisture supplies were 29 percent very short, 44 percent short, 26 percent adequate, and 1 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies were 22 percent very short, 49 percent short, 29 percent adequate, and 0 percent surplus. Low temperatures ranged from 67.1 degrees Fahrenheit at Mena to 76.6 degrees Fahrenheit at Des Arc. Highs ranged from 88.0 degrees Fahrenheit at Magnolia to 97.6 degrees Fahrenheit at Morrilton. Light precipitation was received throughout the state, with the highest concentration occurring in the west central part of the state with an average of 1.01 inches.
