Subsoil moisture supplies were 21 percent very short, 42 percent short, 37 percent adequate, and 0 percent surplus. Low temperatures ranged from 61.0 degrees Fahrenheit at Crossett to 76.6 degrees Fahrenheit at Sparkman. Highs ranged from 88.1 degrees Fahrenheit at Kingston to 103.3 degrees Fahrenheit at Magnolia. Moderate precipitation was received throughout the state, with the highest concentration occurring in the northwest part of the state with an average of 2.56 inches.
