Ft. Pierre Livestock Auction report
The Ft. Pierre Livestock Auction, Ft. Pierre, South Dakota, reported receipts of 927 head selling on Sept. 14, compared to 2,416 head Aug. 30 and 3,198 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The run consisted of mostly packages of tested open replacement heifers, and a few packages of steers. Compared to the Aug. 30 sale, there was too light of a test to make a price comparison.
