2020 Cotton Extension Specialist of the Year

At the recent Beltwide Cotton Conference in Austin, Texas, Dan Fromme was named the 2020 Cotton Extension Specialist of the Year. Fromme is an associate professor and state specialist in cotton, corn and grain sorghum at Louisiana State University’s AgCenter. The award, sponsored by BASF, was presented to Fromme at the annual award dinner and reception. Steve Nichols, BASF Global Agronomic Services—Cotton, noted that Fromme’s expertise and experience in cotton and agronomy has allowed the awardee to make significant contributions to cotton growers in Texas, Louisiana and to the cotton industry.
