The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for Dec. 15, reported in futures trading that Chicago March soft red winter wheat was $5.99 3/4; March corn, $4.24 3/4; and January soybeans, $11.84 1/4.
The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $6.69 3/4 to $6.94 3/4, up 6 1/4 to 3 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $4.89 3/4 to $4.98 3/4, up 1/2 to down 1 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $6.24 3/4 to $6.44 3/4, up 5 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $12.47 1/4 to $12.68 1/4, up 13 3/4 to up 15 1/4 cents.
Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $5.24 to $5.31.
In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $5.46 to $5.66.
No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $5.46 to $5.66.
In northeast Colorado, wheat was $5.02 to $5.21.
In east central Colorado, wheat was $5.21 to $5.41.
In southeast Colorado, wheat was $5.16 to $5.36.
In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $5.02 to $5.16.
No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $4.64 3/4 to $4.74 3/4.
In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $4.13 3/4 to $4.44 3/4.
In east central Colorado, corn was $4.49 3/4 to $4.59 3/4.
In southeast Colorado, corn was $4.59 3/4.
In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $4.11 3/4 to $4.16 3/4 per bushel.
No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $5.44 3/4 to $5.54 3/4.
No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $10.94 3/4 to $11.19 3/4.
White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $20 to $23 per cwt.

In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $23 to $25. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $26 to $27.
