The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for April 20, reported in futures trading that Chicago May soft red winter wheat was $6.59 3/4; May corn, $6.06 1/2; and May soybeans, $14.72.
The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $7.26 1/4 to $7.59 3/4, up 7 1/4 to 7 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $6.57 to $6.73, up 11 1/2 to 14 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $7.56 1/2 to $7.77, up 14 1/2 to 11 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $13.89 1/2 to $15.41, up 15 1/2 to 29 1/4 cents.
Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $5.86 to $5.93.
In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $6.01 to $6.36.
No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $6 3/4 to $6.36.
In northeast Colorado, wheat was $5.50 3/4 to $5.75 3/4.
In east central Colorado, wheat was $5.75 3/4 to $6.10 3/4.
In southeast Colorado, wheat was $5.95 3/4 to $6 3/4.
In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $5.50 3/4 to $5.75 3/4.
No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $6.51 1/2 to $6.66 1/2.
In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $5.79 to $6.31 1/2.
In east central Colorado, corn was $6.31 1/2 to $6.41 1/2.
In southeast Colorado, corn was $6.46 1/2 to $6.51 1/2.
In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $5.91 1/2 to $5.94 1/2 per bushel.
No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $6.26 1/2 to $6.56 1/2.

White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $28.50 to $34 per cwt.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $30 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $30. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $27 to $32. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $32. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were unavailable; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were steady $41 to $46.
