The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for May 25, reported in futures trading that Chicago July soft red winter wheat was $6.56 1/2; July corn, $6.20 1/4; and July soybeans, $15.11 3/4.

The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $7.25 to $7.56 1/2, down 3/4 to 6 3/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $5.95 3/4 to $7.15 1/4, down 23 1/2 to 37 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $6.50 3/4 to $8.05 1/4,down 24 1/2 to 37 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $14.27 1/4 to $15.91 3/4, down 11 to 16 cents.

Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $5.70 to $5.80.

In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $5.85 to $6.25.

No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $5.84 1/2 to $6.24 1/2.

In northeast Colorado, wheat was $5.29 1/2 to $5.59 1/2.

In east central Colorado, wheat was $6.64 1/2 to $5.94 1/2.

In southeast Colorado, wheat was $5.79 1/2 to $5.99 1/2.

In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $5.29 1/2 to $5.54 1/2.

No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $6.85 1/4 to $6.90 1/4.

In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $6.40 1/4 to $6.70 1/4.

In east central Colorado, corn was $6.45 1/4 to $6.55 1/4.

In southeast Colorado, corn was $6.60 1/4 to $6.85 1/4.

In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $6.30 1/4 to $6.42 1/4 per bushel.

No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $6.70 1/4 to $6.75 1/4.

No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $14.26 3/4 to $14.31 3/4.

White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $31 to $34 per cwt.

Sunflowers were $29 per cwt.

In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $6.85 to $6.90. Barley was unavailable.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $35 to $40 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $35. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $36 to $40. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $33 to $37. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were unavailable; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were unavailable.
