The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for July 6, reported in futures trading that Chicago July soft red winter wheat was $6.20; July corn, $6.56; and July soybeans, $13.63 3/4.

The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $6.50 to $6.52, down 25 3/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $7.09, down 41 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $6.79 3/4 to $8.41, down 40 to 41 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $13.81 to $14.26 3/4, down 88 to 94 cents.

Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $5.54 to $5.56.

In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $5.64 to $6.14.

No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $5.63 3/4 to $6.13 3/4.

In northeast Colorado, wheat was $5.18 3/4 to $5.38 3/4.

In east central Colorado, wheat was $5.43 3/4 to $5.73 3/4.

In southeast Colorado, wheat was $5.83 3/4 to $5.88 3/4.

In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $5.23 3/4 to $5.38 3/4.

No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $6.92.

In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $6.52 to $6.92.

In east central Colorado, corn was $5.77 to $6.32.

In southeast Colorado, corn was $6.47 to $7.02.

In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $6.32 to $6.52 per bushel.

No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $6.07 to $6.17.

No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $12.42 3/4 to $13.04 1/4.

White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $32 per cwt.

Sunflowers were $30 per cwt.

In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $6.92. Barley was unavailable.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $35 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $36 to $40. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $36 to $40. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $33 to $36. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were unavailable; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were $47.
