The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for July 13, reported in futures trading that Chicago July soft red winter wheat was $6.28 3/4; July corn, $6.77; and July soybeans, $14.38.

The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $6.58 3/4 to $6.60 3/4, down 6 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $6.91 1/4 to $7.01 1/4,up 21 to 26 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $6.80 3/4 to $8.62, up 7 3/4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $14.88 3/4 to $14.89 3/4, up 14 1/2 to 12 1/2 cents.

Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $5.82 to $5.87.

In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $5.92 to $6.42.

No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $5.91 3/4 to $6.41 3/4.

In northeast Colorado, wheat was $5.51 3/4 to $5.76 3/4.

In east central Colorado, wheat was $5.43 3/4 to $5.73 3/4.

In southeast Colorado, wheat was $6.11 3/4 to $6.16 3/4.

In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $5.51 3/4 to $5.66 3/4.

No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $6.91 1/4.

In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $6.51 1/4 to $6.91 1/4.

In east central Colorado, corn was $5.76 1/4 to $6.31 1/4.

In southeast Colorado, corn was $6.46 1/4 to $7.01 1/4.

In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $6.31 1/4 to $6.51 1/4 per bushel.

No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $6.06 1/4 to $6.16 1/4.

No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $12.90 to $13.74 3/4.

White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $20 per cwt.

Sunflowers were $30 per cwt.

In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $6.92 to $7.01. Barley was unavailable.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $35 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $36 to $40. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $36 to $40. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $33 to $36. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were unavailable; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were $47.
