The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for July 27, reported in futures trading that Chicago September soft red winter wheat was $6.74 1/2; September corn, $5.48 3/4; and August soybeans, $14.18 1/4.
The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $6.98 1/2 to $6.99 1/2, down 2 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $7.03 3/4 to $7.18 3/4, down 1 cent; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $6.86 1/4 to $7.33 1/4, down 1/2 to 1 cent; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $14.88 1/4 to $14.92 1/4, up 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 cents.
Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $6.12 to $6.13.
In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $6.22 to $6.62.
No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $6.21 1/2 to $6.61 1/2.
In northeast Colorado, wheat was $5.81 1/2 to $6.61 1/2.
In east central Colorado, wheat was $6.01 1/2 to $6.31 1/2.
In southeast Colorado, wheat was $6.41 1/2 to $6.46 1/2.
In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $5.81 1/2 to $5.96 1/2.
No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $6.98 3/4.
In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $6.43 3/4 to $6.63 3/4.
In east central Colorado, corn was $5.73 3/4 to $6.28 3/4.
In southeast Colorado, corn was $6.28 3/4 to $6.78 3/4.
In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $6.28 3/4 to $6.48 3/4 per bushel.
No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $6.03 3/4 to $6.13 3/4.
No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $12.97 to $13.78 1/4.
White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $15.50 to $18 per cwt.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $35-$38 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $38 to $41. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $40 to $43. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $35 to $38.
