A warm dessert that is just peachy

Jo’s Peach Cobbler

Servings: 6-8  

Total Time: 55 minutes  

This is a nice quick and easy dessert that is best served warm with vanilla ice cream. It is also nice served at room temperature.  

Ingredients:  

1 stick butter, melted  

2/3 cup sugar  

1 cup self-rising flour  

1 cup milk  

1 large can sliced peaches in heavy syrup  

Instructions:   

Melt butter in a greased 9 x 13 glass dish in the oven. In a separate bowl, mix together self-rising flour, milk and sugar and combine well. Pour batter over melted butter in the dish and spoon canned peaches over top. Do not stir. Bake in a 350-degree F oven until brown and bubbly for approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
