The National Western Stock Show, presented by CommonSpirit Health, is set to kick off its 118th edition, running from Jan. 6 to Jan. 21, 2024. Celebrating Colorado’s vibrant western heritage, this iconic event is jam-packed with pro rodeo performances, horse shows, family events and activities.
The National Western Complex grounds will transform into a western wonderland, offering acres of shopping, dining, the Chevy Truck display in the Hall of Ed, and the beloved petting farm presented by King Soopers. With over 300 events and activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The festivities begin just after the new year with the annual Stock Show Kick-Off Parade on Jan. 4, presented by Arrow Electronics. Led by Grand Marshal and Denver Broncos football legend, Randy Gradishar, the historic parade will wind through downtown Denver, marking the start of this 118-year-old Colorado tradition. A recent financial impact study reveals that the National Western Stock Show contributes an impressive $171 million in economic impact to the state of Colorado in January alone. As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, the stock show plays a crucial role in supporting the community. The event also raises money for the National Western Scholarship Trust, providing 120 scholarships and over $550,000 to students studying agriculture, rural medicine, and veterinary sciences.
