The Kansas City Barbeque Society is offering its judging school and table captain class on April 13 at the Nordby Exhibit Hall on the South Dakota State Fairgrounds in Huron. The judging class runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the table captain class starting at 2:30 p.m.
Certified KCBS judges and table captains are needed for the annual Original SD BBQ Championships, a KCBS-sanctioned event, held in conjunction with Wheel Jam on the South Dakota State Fairgrounds June 7 to 8.
Registration is $115 for the judging school and $60 for the table captain class. To register, go to www.sdbbqchampionships.com or call the State Fair Office at 605-353-7340 for more information. The registration deadline is April 3.
