“Oklahoma standard” is a theme that runs deep throughout Oklahoma. Whether it be helping out during storms, fires or hard times, a deep concern for people and doing what’s right is unwavering.

The Oklahoma Independent Stockgrowers Association represents that standard and advocates for the freedom of all American cattle producers to have the liberty and freedom to produce the way they see fit and profitable.

Several OISA board members had the opportunity to kick off Beef Month May 1st at the Oklahoma State Capitol by presenting Gov. Kevin Stitt with a Yeti cooler full of born, raised and processed beef donated by Gore’s Travel Plaza, Seiling, Oklahoma, and embellished with board members’ brands created by T Rex Enterprises, Woodward, Oklahoma.

Later, state legislators enjoyed barbecue from Clark’s Crew Smokehouse, Oklahoma City.
