Beginning Farmer and Rancher Workshop offered in Valentine

The Beginning Farmer and Rancher Workshop is designed to equip young farmers and ranchers with essential skills to navigate the complexities of family operations. The workshop is planned for 5:30 to 8:30p.m. Oct. 2 at Mid-Plains Community College in Valentine.

This workshop is geared toward for young farmers, ranchers and anyone interested in understanding their role in family operations. The event will include topics such as family communication, labor management and employee retention.

The workshop is free to attend, but registration is encouraged by contacting Nebraska Extension in Cherry County at 402-376-1850.
