Blayne Arthur, Oklahoma secretary of agriculture, will be the keynote luncheon speaker for the Dec. 18 Ranch Conversation at the Woodward County Event Center (fairgrounds).

The event will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. The focus of the Ranch Conversation will be to provide information to producers and community leaders about state and federal programs and possible funding opportunities and other assistance that might be available to them, said Coleta Bratten, chairwoman of the High Plains Resource Conservation and Development Council.

There is no charge to attend the event, and lunch will be provided. Agricultural producers and community leaders from neighboring states are encouraged to attend. For those planning to attend the lunch, RSVP by Dec. 16 to 580-256-5320 Ext. 108 or e-mail to [email protected].
