The Texas Beef Council has announced its board of directors for fiscal year 2025, which officially began Oct. 1. The 20 directors are nominated by producer organizations or industry segments from across the state and kicked off the year with the first meeting of the Texas Beef Council and the Beef Promotion and Research Council of Texas on Nov. 21.
The executive board includes the following individuals and their hometown, Chairman Pat Shields, Bryan; vice chairman Brandi Richards, Hereford; immediate past chairman Fred Schuetze, Granbury; Brian Malaer, Harwood; and Marsha Shoemaker, Bellevue.
Directors are Brandon Cutrer, Wharton; Klazina de Boer, Dublin; Kara Dudley, Horseshoe Bay; Neil Dudley, Hamilton; Dane Elliott, Pawnee; Amy Kirkland, Vega; Sarah McKenzie, Fort Davis; Gilly Riojas, Corpus Christi; Shannon Treichel, Canyon; Kerry Wiggins, Austin; Richard Winter, Canyon. First-term directors are Leslie Callahan, Austin; John Connaway, Brookesmith; George Harrison, Bay City; and John Van de Pol, Amherst.
