DeLaval, Gurnee, Illinois, a leader in dairy farming solutions, is honored to announce the Evanza Milking Cluster has been named Agri Marketing’s 2024 New Product of the Year.

The DeLaval Evanza Milking Cluster is the first cluster in the world to utilize a cartridge instead of a liner. Evanza is engineered to help increase milk yield, support better udder health and eliminate the need for liner changes, reducing downtime and labor costs.

With advanced technologies designed for efficiency and cow comfort, the Evanza Milking Cluster features Turn&Milk, allowing for quick cartridge and short milk tube replacements in under a minute, reducing labor and service time.

The Clover Cartridge helps enhance milking performance and longevity, while TopFlow technology minimizes air ingress by up to 83% and can shorten milking time by up to 7%, ensuring a smoother, more efficient milking process. A lighter, well-balanced design with ergonomic grip zones further improves handling, making milking easier for operators while optimizing milk flow and udder health.

“We are extremely proud that the Evanza was recognized as the 2024 New Product of the Year,” said Jeff Hahn, DeLaval’s solution manager for milking systems in North America. “This innovation was built on our commitment to drive progress in milk production and to provide dairy farmers with cutting-edge technology. We feel the Evanza is doing just that.”

Farmers using the Evanza have reported improvements in milking performance, time savings and overall herd well-being, reinforcing its role as a transformative solution in the industry.

Since 2009, Agri Marketing has recognized outstanding technologies and innovations that help North American crop and livestock producers become more efficient and profitable. A panel of expert judges select the product that best represent these goals.
