Hayden On Harvest: It’s always something!

Hey farming friends! Join Hayden on another wild day of custom harvesting, where nothing ever goes quite according to plan – but that’s just part of the adventure! Today started with some typical harvest challenges: greasing combines, dealing with equipment issues, and navigating tricky terrain with terraced fields.

Hayden and his crew were cutting wheat in an area with interesting elevation differences, which actually impacts when wheat matures. They worked through some technical hiccups, including a hydraulic issue with his mom’s combine that John Deere helped repair. Despite some hail damage, the wheat was still yielding impressively in the 40s.

The day was a mix of hard work, problem-solving, and beautiful moments – like watching a stunning sunset from the combine’s cab. They managed to cut around 175 acres, moved about 35 miles, and kept pushing forward even when the elevator closed earlier than expected.

Oh, and did we mention Hayden’s YouTube channel is close to hitting 50,000 subscribers? He’s hoping to reach 100,000 by harvest’s end and invited viewers to suggest fun challenges to celebrate!
