New Mexico State University’s Santa Fe County Cooperative Extension Service will host a land restoration workshop and demonstration Aug. 30, at the Santa Fe County Extension office, 3229 Rodeo Rd.
The free event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to landowners managing both small and large properties. Attendees will learn strategies to improve soil health, manage erosion and support long-term sustainability through hands-on activities and live demonstrations.
Hands-on activities will cover soil sampling, infiltration testing, compaction assessments, plant identification and resource evaluations. Participants will observe keyline design and seeding demonstrations. For more information call 505-471-4711 or [email protected].
