Harnessing cover crops, perennial pastures

The University of Minnesota Extension’s North Central Research and Outreach Center will have a field day Sept. 19 highlighting the latest research and information about cover crops and perennial pasture management.

Check-in will start at 8:30 a.m. with the field day running from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch at the Agronomy Building, 31654 Harristown Road, Grand Rapids. Topics will include cover crop management, water runoff, perennial pasture practices, and effective and practical tools.

The event is free and open to all producers.
